Buffalo Wild Wings Goes After Fast Casual Competition With 15-Minute Lunch Guarantee

Strapped for time, but craving more than fast food drive-thru fare for lunch? While you once may not have had many options, the rise of fast casual restaurants offer a plethora of choices. Throwing its hat into the speedy lunch crowd is Buffalo Wild Wings, which unveiled a new 15-minute lunch guarantee this week.

The chain unveiled the “B-Dubs Fast Break” lunch menu, providing guests with a guarantee that anything they order from the list will arrive at their table within 15 minutes — or the entire meal is free.

The 15-minute guarantee “Pick 2” menu, which includes salads, sandwiches, and snack portions of both traditional and boneless wings, is available Monday through Friday, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., and applies to groups of six or fewer customers.

Once a guest orders from the menu, servers will start a timer when they leave the table and stop the timer when the food is delivered.

Any guest who doesn’t get their meal in 15 minutes gets their entire meal and any fountain soda for free.

B-Dubs says the new menu was created as a result of research that found most customers only have 30 to 40 minutes to eat lunch from the time they enter the restaurant and when they must leave.

“We want to prove to our guests that they can get the Buffalo Wild Wings experience they have come to know and love within the limited time they have for a traditional lunch break,” Todd Kronebusch, the chain’s vice president of food and beverage, said in a statement.
